Jon Hamm Had To Wear An Unexpected Prosthetic For Fargo Season 5
While Jon Hamm wore prosthetic pieces to achieve the nipple-piercing effect for his character in “Fargo” Season 5, he wholeheartedly embraced Noah Hawley’s idea to give Sheriff Roy Tillman some off-the-wall attributes.
“It’s a specific choice that Noah made for the character that I’ve leaned into, and thought was very creative and interesting,” Hamm told Business Insider. “I was happy to be able to be on board with that choice. I think it’s an interesting, unexpected little ‘Fargo’-esque twist.”
Though Hamm appreciates Hawley’s creativity, he apparently wasn’t sentimental enough to hold onto to his fake pierced nipples as personal memorabilia from the series. “I didn’t keep them, so whoever’s in charge of them, hopefully, they got thrown away,” Hamm told Business Insider. “I don’t want anybody stealing my nipples.”
